Conjunto Imagen was founded in 1989 by bandleaders Ernie Acevedo and Junior Rivera. Angelo Gonzalez joined as Musical Director in 1990. They have since recorded eleven productions. Three of those were under J&N Records entitled “Tumba, Tres y Bongo”, “Te Invita a Bailar” and “Mi Rumba”. The next six, productions were recorded under the Platano Records & Universal label titled “Algo Nuevo”, “Por Amor a Ti”, “Encuentro Especial”, “Imagen 97”, “Entrando a Milenio” and "Contra La Fuerza". a Christmas CD titled, “Xmas with Imagen” featuring Jose Fajardo & Yomo Toro was recorded under R&E records. Conjunto Imagen’s last production “Ayer, Hoy y Mañana” was released under their very own record label Muziq Inc. Records Vocals by Jesus Serrano & Eddie Rosado.
