ASCANIO SCANO (COMPOSER,ARRANGER,PIANIST) official website - myspace page In the years '70 begins his professional career: turnče with CLAUDIO VILLA, ANNA OXA, ADRIANO PAPPALARDO, RITA PAVONE, EDOARDO VIANELLO and others. He works for R.C.A. as a turnista and registers various records of his own composition. In 1984 he moves to Venezuela where he begins the collaboration as arranger, composer and independent record producer for the record houses RODVEN, SONORODVEN, SONOGRAFICA and TUCAN RECORDS. He records twelve disks with the following artists: INAKI, MIRNA RIOS, COLINA, ALBERTO ACUNA, FERNANDO CARRILLO, WALTER FENDI, CARLOS MATA, ADRIANA JOIS, GREGORIO RIVERO, MIRTA PEREZ, ALICIA PLAZA. He completes national and international turnče, as musical director and keyboardplayer, with the artists: KARINA, RICARDO MONTANER, CARLOS MATA, MIJARES, PABLO MANAVELLO, MOISES, AGUILAR, FRANK QUINTERO, COLINA, INAKI, SERGIO PEREZ, MIRNA RIOS, GREGORI He takes part at recordings of television programs of the nets, VENEVISION, Radio CARACAS TELEVISION and TELEVISA. He takes part to various editions of the "Festival jazz of Caracas", as composer and pianist, with YASMIL MARRUFO, ROLDAN PENA and PABLO MATARAZZO. He also played with 0TMARO RUIZ, CARLOS " NENč " QUINTERO, LUISITO QUINTERO, AARON SERFATI, PEDRO EUSTACHE, RUBEN REBOLLEDO, RICHIE "GAJATE" GARCIA, LEO QUINTERO, ENRIQUE SANTANA, WILLIE CROES, MIGUEL BLANCO. In 1991 returns to Italy and in '92 he is musical director in the Argentinian tour of CARLOS MATA and musical producer of the Italian presentations of FERNANDO CARRILLO. Works at the recording of CD "CAMOMA" of the group " BATISTOCOCO" as artistic coproducer and composer of one theme. He is among the founders of the group "MEZCLA LATINA." He produces sonorous columns for documentaries and jingle for the agency PUSH PULL. In 1997 he travels to Los Angeles for the production of "ALGUN Dia" CD of the group "9IID" of which he is musical producer, keyboard palyer and musical director. In '98 the work is published by the Mexican POLYGRAM. Since 2003 he is the composer of all the music for the game "SUPERMAG", produced by the PLASTWOOD. AZZURRA MUSIC has recently published his last disk of Latin jazz " Morrocoy."
Negli anni ’70 inizia la sua carriera da professionista: turnče con CLAUDIO VILLA, ANNA OXA, ADRIANO PAPPALARDO, RITA PAVONE, EDOARDO VIANELLO ed altri. Lavora alla R.C.A. come turnista ed incide vari dischi, di propria composizione. Nel 1984 si trasferisce in Venezuela dove inizia la collaborazione come arrangiatore, compositore e produttore discografico indipendente per le case discografiche RODVEN, SONORODVEN, SONOGRAFICA e TUCAN RECORDS. Registra dodici dischi con i seguenti artisti: INAKI, MIRNA RIOS, COLINA, ALBERTO ACUNA, FERNANDO CARRILLO, WALTER FENDI, CARLOS MATA, ADRIANA JOIS, GREGORIO RIVERO, MIRTA PEREZ, ALICIA PLAZA. Compie turnče nazionali ed internazionali, in qualitŕ di direttore musicale e prima tastiera, con gli artisti: KARINA, RICARDO MONTANER, CARLOS MATA, MIJARES, PABLO MANAVELLO, MOISES, AGUILAR, FRANK QUINTERO, COLINA, INAKI, SERGIO PEREZ, MIRNA RIOS, GREGORIO RIVERO. Partecipa a registrazioni di
programmi televisivi delle reti, VENEVISION, RADIO CARACAS TELEVISION e TELEVISA.
Partecipa a varie edizioni del “Festival jazz di Caracas”, come compositore e
pianista, con YASMIL MARRUFO, ROLDAN PENA e PABLO MATARAZZO. Inoltre ha suonato
con: 0TMARO RUIZ, CARLOS “ NENč “ QUINTERO, LUISITO QUINTERO,AARON SERFATI,
PEDRO EUSTACHE, RUBEN REBOLLEDO, RICHIE “GAJATE” GARCIA, LEO QUINTERO, ENRIQUE
SANTANA, WILLIE CROES, MIGUEL BLANC, RUGGERO ROBIN, PAOLO ANDRIOLO, ENZO
CARPENTIERI, NICOLA SORATO, JACOPO IACOPETTI. Nel 1991 torna in Italia. Nel ’92
č direttore musicale nella tournče argentina di CARLOS MATA e produttore
musicale delle presentazioni italiane di FERNANDO CARRILLO. Registra il CD
“CAMOMA” del gruppo “ BATISTOCOCO” come co-produttore artistico e compositore di
un brano ed č uno dei fondatori del gruppo “MEZCLA LATINA”. Produce colonne
sonore per documentari e jingle per l’agenzia PUSH PULL. Nel 1997 viaggia a Los
Angeles per la produzione di “ALGUN DIA” CD del gruppo “9IID” di cui, oltre che
produttore, č anche tastierista e direttore musicale. Nel ’98 il disco viene
pubblicato dalla POLYGRAM messicana. Da tre anni č il compositore di tutte le
musiche del gioco “SUPERMAG”, prodotto dalla PLASTWOOD. L’Azzurra music ha
pubblicato recentemente il suo ultimo disco di Latin jazz “ Morrocoy” .
