Every now and then you run into a piece of music that reaches deep down into the very core of your inner-most being.  It's electrifying and you can't stop listening until it's over. You feel it in every nucleus of every cell.  Every pulsating, pounding stroke of each conga or bongo takes you on that musical journey to a place that only your soul remembers and calls home. 

I've had that experience several times in my life and truly enjoy each new and similar experience with profound joy. The most recent experience came to me via a couple of twin sisters from Puerto Rico (obviously), who have been following the beat of their own "drumbeat", singing and playing percussions since the ripe age of 5.

Boricua sisters, Yvonne and Lisa known today as "Twin Soul"  have performed in various locations worldwide, along with numerous musicians who've contributed to their Latin Flavor, receiving favorable responses wherever they perform, mostly due to their image as well as their unique style, which can be described best as typical music from Puerto Rico, derived from the ancestry of the african roots.  Combining this deeply rooted style along with today's style of dance music has contributed greatly to the success of Twin Soul.
