Review by Latin Lady Dj Margarita for WWW.VINILEMANIA.NET V-i-b-e-o-l-o-g-y! That's the word! This new project from Grupo Latin Vibe will absolutely touch that soulful place within you. I can't explain why it is that the melodic tones of the vibraphone transport me to a very warm and soulful place in my musical mind, but that's exactly the way I feel each and every time I listen to music in which the vibraphone is incorporated. Very classy! You know that kind I'm talking about. You can't help but perk up your ears and stretch out your neck, trying to listen as best you can to what's being played. The music literally pulls you into itself. Very special thing. There's also an added sense of richness and quality that the "vibes" bring out in music,.reminiscent of the days of Lionel Hampton or Cal Tjader (who remains one of my favorite Latin Jazz artists to this day). The same holds true for every track on this album. Whether it's music for your personally listening time or something to get that motor running, this album has it all. Grupo Latin Vibe kicks off with upbeat little number entitled "Lady Mambo" and just keeps them coming, hitting you with one great track after another. Most of them salsa or mambo based numbers and you can be sure that they are all extremely danceable selections. Amanecer is jazzy and very classy! Grupo Latin Vibe calls this project "a bag of goodies" and I totally agree with them. Amanecer has it all, guajiras, Latin jazz, mambos and even a touch of romance or bolero. You're simply going to love this cd! A must have to any listener or dancer's collection. Highly recommended! To purchase this CD click here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/grupolatinvibe3
