review by Bruce Polin - courtesy www.descarga.com Just in! Not just one, but two marvellous jews. Count 'em. This historically significant album, originally recorded in 1988 (Andy relocated there in 1977) is important not only for the two Harlow's collaboration, but for the reemergence of legendary salsa pianist Marcolino Dimond. The Miami Sessions also features four lead vocalists: Luis Serrano, Frankie Castro, Fernando Resto and Luis Enrique — who does a beautiful job on the melancholy "Impossible." Also with bassist Eddie "Gua Gua" Rivera, Freddy Lugo on bongos, Ramon Casales on timbales, and Jorge Casales on congas. Rafael Solano is also featured on timbales and batá drums. For the collectors: Highly Recommended. (BP, 2006-04-27)
